Apple Juice Recall

Please be advised that on August 23, 2024, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported on a voluntary recall, initiated by Refresco Beverages US Inc., of numerous brands of apple juice including two brands that are available to purchase with WIC benefits in Massachusetts: Market Basket 64 oz. apple juice and Urban Meadows 64 oz. apple juice.  The recall is due to high levels of arsenic.

Please note: the company has not sent out a notice with instructions for returning product, so at this time we are informing families to not consume the juice.  If we received additional instructions, we will share them.

Also, the affected product has been removed from the shelves.  This should only be an issue for past purchase of these products.
