WIC has been a valuable resource for many families during COVID-19. Stick with WIC to take advantage of all the program has to offer!
More fruits and vegetables for your family
Starting in June and lasting through the summer, children (1 year & older) and women will receive a monthly $35 cash value benefit to spend on fresh, frozen, and canned fruits and vegetables at the grocery store. Always swipe your WIC card first to maximize your food dollar benefit and remember, benefits do not roll over month to month. The new enhanced fruit and vegetable benefit will be loaded within a few days after a family’s June benefit start date, so be sure to check the “My Benefits” section on the WIC Shopper App! Please refer to the MA WIC Fruit & Vegetable Flyer for more information.
WIC offers more than just food
WIC staff provide personalized nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support, and connect families to other services and health care resources. WIC values the human connection that comes with personalized counseling, which helps staff to support participants based on nutritional needs, household situation and cultural preferences.
WIC is working to make it easier for you to stick with WIC!
WIC continues to provide appointment flexibility by offering services by phone or online. Appointments are convenient and flexible to meet your busy schedule. Access your WIC appointments using the “My Appointments” button on the WIC Shopper App. WIC will always send you a text to remind you of your appointment.
