What is WIC FMNP?

WIC FARMERS MARKET NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR WIC PARTICIPANTS
WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC FMNP) is part of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program run by the Mississippi State Department of Health
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR WIC FMNP?
Women, Infants over 9 months of age, and Children receiving WIC Program benefits are eligible for WIC FMNP

How does FMNP Work?

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
*Participants of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program can receive a one-time benefit of $30 to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from June 1 through October 31st using a QR code at an authorized farmers market or farmstand location.
*WIC participants completing the online FMNP application will be issued a QR code via email. If more assistance is needed in applying for FMNP benefits, please visit your local WIC clinic or WIC health center.Â
