Packaged Salads Recall

The FDA announced that Dole Fresh Vegetables Inc. voluntarily recalled several of its packaged salads containing iceberg lettuce due to concerns of Listeria contamination. These products are unlikely to still be in stores but may still be in homes. People who have these products are urged not to use them and throw them away immediately.

 

Products subject to the voluntary recall are identified by a product lot code located in the upper-right-hand corner of the package (see example below) with one of the following:

  • Begin with “W”and have a “Best if Used By” date between December 22, 2021 and January 9, 2022.
  • Begin with “B”and have a “Best if Used By” date between December 23, 2021 and January 8, 2022. 

 

No other Dole products are part of the voluntary recall.
