Tennessee WIC Operations Normal

  • Even with the federal government shutdown on October 1, 2025.
  • Tennessee WIC is operating, and WIC Clinics are open.
  • Tennessee WIC participants can continue to use their TNWIC Cards.
  • Tennessee WIC vendors can accept TNWIC cards.

Tennessee WIC staff are monitoring the federal situation and will notify participants and vendors in advance of any change to WIC operations in Tennessee.

If a change occurs, Tennessee WIC staff will notify participants, vendors, and the public as quickly as possible through the WIC Shopper App, media, kidcentraltn.com, and https://www.tn.gov/health/health-program-areas/fhw/wic.html.
