• With eWIC, your household’s benefits will be loaded onto your card at your local WIC Overseas Office.

• Before you can use your WIC Overseas eWIC Card, you must create a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). Please follow these instructions:
  • Log into the Participant Portal by scanning the QR code on the back of your eWIC card or go to https://mywicoverseas.cdpehs.com/login .
  • Enter in your current card number located on the front of your card.
  • Enter in a personalized 4-digit PIN number that you can easily remember.
  • Re-enter your personalized 4-digit PIN number to confirm.
• If you have any questions or complications while doing so, please contact your local WIC Overseas Office.

The WICShopper app will allow you to keep track of your WIC benefits and to scan products against your remaining benefits to make sure you won’t have any problems at the register. If you have not registered your eWIC card yet, tap the “My Benefits” button to get started!

• НЕ write your PIN on your card.
• НЕ keep your PIN in your purse or wallet.

• DO keep your card clean and safe.

• Only buy what you need. You do not need to buy all your WIC food at one time.
• At Commissary stores, WIC and non-WIC foods can be combined in a single transaction. However, at NEXMart stores, WIC items must be scanned separately from Non-WIC foods.
• Have your eWIC card ready. Always use your eWIC card prior to other forms of payment.
• The cashier will tell you when to slide your eWIC card through the Point of Sale (POS) machine.

• The cashier will scan your foods and print a “mid-transaction receipt” for you to review before approving the purchase.
• The amount of approved food items and dollar amount of fruits and vegetables will be deducted from your account.
• The cashier will give you an end receipt which shows your remaining benefit balance, and the LDTU.
• Self-Checkout lanes and online ordering are not available for eWIC use. Participants who choose to use these methods do so at their own risk. WIC Overseas cannot guarantee successful benefit redemption or recovery of benefits if issues occur during the transaction.

You cannot return or exchange food purchased with the eWIC card at the store for cash. If you need to change an infant formula, or if you have any questions about using your benefits, please contact your local WIC Overseas office for assistance.

A: There are 3 ways to get your balance:

A: You will need to contact your local WIC Overseas Office to discuss any possible changes to your food benefits.

Q: I scanned some foods or key entered a UPC number and saw some different messages. What do they mean?

A:

• Разрешено – This means items are allowed to be purchased with WIC Benefits. One thing to know is you might see an item is allowed, but it’s not in your WIC food benefits, so you can’t buy it with WIC. Until WIC benefits ink to the WICShopper app, this “allowed” message may not apply to your family’s benefits. For example, a one-year-old child gets whole milk. If you don’t have a one-year-old child in your family, whole milk will not be a part of your WIC food benefits, and you will not be able to buy whole milk at the register.
• Не является предметом WIC – This means the item scanned is not WIC approved. If you think you should be able to buy this item with your WIC benefits please reach out to your local WIC Overseas Office or fill out the form under the “Я не мог купить это” module in the app.
• Unable to Identify – This means the app cannot read the barcode that has been scanned. If for any reason it is hard for the app to read the barcode you will get this message. You can also use the button, “Ключ Enter UPC” and manually enter the 12-digit UPC number located under the barcode.
