Lemon Cream Pie Smoothie
Bright citrus and creamy this blend turns a favorite dessert into a refreshing smoothie.
Servings: 1
- ¾ cup yogurt or soymilk dairy-free yogurt
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- 1 frozen banana*
- ½ cup ice
- ¼ cup water or coconut water
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1-2 tbsp honey or agave if desired
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Pinch of turmeric or a few drops of natural yellow food color if desired
- 1 tbsp graham cracker crumbs for garnish
- *Remember to peel and chop the banana before freezing
Blend all ingredients except graham crackers until smooth, creamy and delicious.
Place in a glass and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.
