Ombre Fruit and Yogurt Bars
These Ombre Fruit and Yogurt Bars are a fun and refreshing option perfect for kids and adults alike! Servings: 6
- 2 cups of WIC approved greek yogurt
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen berries
- 2 oz of water
Fill the bottom of molds or plastic cups with 2 tablespoon of yogurt, forming an even layer of greek yogurt
If using popsicle sticks, insert them now. Freeze for 40 minutes to create the white yogurt layer.
Place berries in blender with about 2 oz of water, blend leaving some chunks of fruit
Divide mixture in half
In one half, add 1 tablespoon of greek yogurt. Add 2 tablespoons into mold with frozen yogurt. This will create the blended layer
Freeze for 40 minutes
In the remaining half, (without yogurt) add to mold which will be the colorful fruit layer.
Freeze for 40 minutes
To release the popsicles, briefly rinse the outside of the molds with warm water.
