Best option: contact your local WIC clinic.

Common Questions – Below are a few FAQs that may help you.
Scanning Fruits and Vegetables:
Scanning fruits to determine if they are eligible can be tricky and WICShopper may not be able to read the barcodes on individual pieces of produce. Additionally, some stores use their own codes and those items don’t always scan in the app as WIC eligible. This means in the app it could show as not eligible when in fact it is covered by your benefits. Most whole, pre-cut or sliced produce without sauces or dips are allowed. Always refer to your foods list in the app (WIC Allowable Foods) for more details.
Unable to buy a product you think is WIC eligible?
If you were unable to make purchases that you felt should be covered, you can also tap the “I couldn’t buy this!” button to report the product to your WIC agency. They will responde back to you
