Organic eggs and natural peanut butter are no longer allowed.

To help manage the costs while continuing to support WIC families, certain foods will be removed from the Approved Food List (APL) effective May 5, 2025. These decisions are based solely on cost and availability and do not impact the nutritional value of WIC-approved foods.

Key Updates:

• Organic eggs will no longer be an approved WIC item. Cage-free, free-range and specialty eggs will remain available to provide a variety of choices.
• The following natural peanut butter brands will be removed:
  • Peanut Butter & Co
  • Justin's Classic Peanut Butter
  • Adams Natural Peanut Butter
  • Crazy Richard's Natural Peanut Butter
  • Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter
