The Prenatal Health and Nutrition (PHAN) Study

We are seeking:

Pregnant women >18 years old who have potentially been exposed to lead

The purpose of the study is to determine how diet relates to stress and blood lead levels during pregnancy
What’s involved:

Rhode Island

  • A study office visit in Providence to complete surveys about diet & stress
  • An online diet survey at home
  • A visit to a Quest Diagnostic lab for a blood sample collection
  • Collecting 10 saliva samples at home over 2 days (5 samples per day)
  • $100 in Amazon gift cards as compensation
