Simple Overnight Oatmeal with berries in a bowl

Simple Overnight Oatmeal

Easy to make the night before for a quick and creamy breakfast in the morning.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup plain yogurt or soymilk dairy-free yogurt
  • ½ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup vanilla soymilk
  • ½ cup fresh fruit such as berries, peaches or sliced banana

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar or bowl. Cover and let sit overnight in the fridge.
  2. Serve hot or cold, topped with additional fruit, chopped nuts or granola, if desired.

Notes

NOTE: For additional nutrition add 1 tbs chia seeds or 1 tbs ground flax to mixture before refrigerating.
